We are excited about the deployment of Office 365. Office 365 gives you the familiarity and power of Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note – with the flexibility of the cloud and additional online storage through OneDrive. Work with your students and colleagues online and see each other’s changes in real-time with Office Online and OneDrive. No more emailing outdated versions back and forth. You can take it a step further by linking to your files from your Moodle class. When there’s an update to a document, you make the change in one place (OneDrive).
Students were introduced to Office 365 in August 2014 (Phase I). MIT will roll it out to faculty and staff in January. More information will be sent when school resumes.
