Instructional Technology and Design Services (ITDS) has enhanced our academic technology support model by expanding our scope of service to become a formal extension of the Teaching Resource and Research Center (TRRC).
ITDS connected with TRRC to support the “Connected Educator” and “Onboard with Online” series last year and continues the partnership for TRRCs Third Thursdays series, “Blended and Online Pedagogies for NextGen Learners”. This year’s series focuses on highlighting how Spelman faculty are blending learning activities with web based educational technologies in their courses. Each Third Thursday workshop will showcase a faculty member discussing their of use educational technologies to engage their students in learning activities in and out of the classroom, provide opportunities for meaningful interactions with faculty and fellow students without borders, as well as collect assessment data to determine how well learning objectives are being met.
