2014 – 2015: The Connected Educator Series

The Connected Educator series is a year-long series of faculty development workshops designed to support the implementation of learning technologies in effective and pedagogically sound ways. Hosted by the Teaching Resource and Research Center and MIT Educational Technology, the workshops are held on the Second Friday of each month in TRRC, Giles G-16. This semester’s presenters were Dr. Gene McGinnis (Biology, focus: teaching with iPads and Socrative, September), Ms. Emily Decker (AUC Woodruff Library, focus: flipping the classroom, October), and Dr. Lisa Hibbard (Chemistry, focus: blended learning strategies, November). Planning is underway for spring term.
